Courses Details

1. B.U.M.S.

The course are framed and prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (C.C.I.M.), New

Delhi for Kamil-e-Tibb-o-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery – BUMS) degree adopted and conducted by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. Indore, MP and are taught in the college.

The BUMS degree is a 4 ½ years duration course. Splitted in three professional examinations of 18 months each. In addition a candidate who has passed the IIIrd professional examination shall be eligible for award of Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery – BUMS degree after successful completion of 12 months compulsory rotatory internship in a recognized institution / Hospital.

3.	Third Professional	18 months
4.	Compulsory Rotatory Internship	12 months
Thus the entire course of BUMS degree is a whole time course of 5 ½ years duration

Theory and Practical examination in each professional will be held as per scheme framed and announced by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore based on the syllabus for B.U.M.S. degree prescribed by C.C.I.M., New Delhi.

3. Diploma In Medical Lab. Tech. (D.M.L.T.)

4. Operation Theater Technician (Certificate)

5. Unani Compounder (Certificate)

Admission Procedure
The admission will be granted on the basis of merit obtained in 10+2 or C.E.T.(Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Competent Authoriry appointed by the Assocication or Stat Govt. of Madhya Pradesh

Eligibility

i) The minimum qualification for admission BUMS, BPT, OT Technician & DMLT courses is 10+2 (P.C.B) or equivalent or higher examinations passed.

ii) For BUMS & Unani Compounder (10+2) H.Sc. Examination passed and Urdu upto High School Level.

iii) The Candidate may be Indian from any State / N.R.I / Foreign Nation

Age

The minimum age for admission is 17 years 30^th October in the year of admission for the said course.

Fee Structure

The Fee for the various courses shall be charged at the rate of prescribed by the competent authority of colloege, Fee Fixation Commitee (M.P.) (Revisable time to time)
